RSS Feeds and Podcasts
From this page (in the right column) you can subscribe to UT's RSS (Really Simple Syndication) and Podcast services and receive automatic feeds of UT news, announcements, and events.
RSS Feed
To receive the RSS feed, you will need a news reader, or RSS aggregator. Many free and commercial aggregators are available for download. Use your favorite search engine to find the one you prefer.
Once your news reader is downloaded, installed, and open on your computer, you can subscribe to UT's RSS feed by right-clicking (Windows) or option-clicking (Apple) on the RSS button, copying the link into your clipboard, and then pasting it into the subscription field of your RSS aggregator.
Your news reader program will fill up with the latest news headlines from UT. To read the full story, simply click on the headline.
Podcast
A podcast is bascially an RSS feed for audio (or even video) content. Again, you will need software that will auotomatically check and download podcasts. Apple's iTunes software is one of many free programs available and is available for both Mac and Windows platforms.
When you subscribe to UT's news podcast using your software of choice, all of our audio press releases will be downloaded to your computer in MP3 format.
