Our Students Are WinnersFive UTK architecture students were winners in the 1996 Society of American Registered Architects student design awards program. Chad Boetger, Matt Boomhower, and Kristen Grove won second place awards, and John Sanders and Wayde Tardif won honorable mentions. Their project was a military-educational center and museum for Fort Campbell, Ky. There were 70 submissions from 28 architectural schools. UTK took third place in the National Black MBA Association's annual competition. The team-Kevin McCormick, Roy Gifford, Dorothy Jones, and Millicent Dorrah-developed a computerized marketing strategy for auto retailers. UTK placed first in the 1995 competition.
