Park Between The Lines

Parking on campus has become a little easier for students thanks to a new garage.

The 866-space, five-level structure is on White Avenue behind Clement and Strong residence halls. The garage officially opened with a dedication ceremony Nov. 27.

The design was a joint venture of King and Johnson Architects and Michael Brady Architects, both of Knoxville. Ray Bell Construction Co. of Brentwood, Tenn., was the contractor.

More parking spaces are on the way. A 1,200-space garage is under construction near Neyland Stadium and should be completed this fall.
